After a long trip to South America, Asia and Africa we are back home. For our project last year, we studied Europe. We touched upon many issues related to our beautiful continent. We showed the children interesting spots on the map. We discussed values that unify European nations. We learnt about the history, art and music of our continent.
Just as in previous years, we prepared special songs for the project. Joanna Zarańska and her friends wrote the lyrics, Michał Tokaj composed the music, and the vocals were provided by Aga Zaryan and Sean Palmer. We are very happy that the American artist Marcie Bronstein participated in the project again. She prepared a series of topical photoplays, especially for our students.
Each spring we invite the children from our Early Stage schools to the recording studio to create a unique album. Together with the artists, the children sing all the songs composed for the project. That was how this one-of-a-kind record, full of the children’s enthusiasm, was made. Lend your ears; it is worth listening to!
Together with PAH (Polish Humanitarian Action), the patron of our international project, we supported the charity program for Ukrainian single mothers from the Zaporizhia province, where the majority of the internally displaced persons are located. The funds collected were donated to buy food, warm clothes and personal care products.
